Anti Ragging Committee

In compliance with directions of the Hon’ble Supreme court in Civil Appeal no. 887 of 2009, and as per All India Council for Technical Education notified Regulation for prevention, prohibition of ragging in AICTE approved Technical Institutions vide No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/ 2009 dated 01.07.2009, The President/Chairman hereby constitutes a standing committee to be known as the Anti-ragging committee comprising of the following members at the institute level:

Committee For SC-ST

Any kind of discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, and disability (Under the Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act is strictly prohibited in Vivekanand Institute of Management. VIM will be very sensitive while dealing with incidents of caste discrimination and strict action will be taken against anyone involved in any act of discrimination. The Officials/faculty members have also desisted from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on the grounds of their social origin. The names of the committee members are as follows,

Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)

The Statutory Committee Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) is formed as per Section 4 of All India Council for Technical Education (Gender Sensitization, Prevention, and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students and Redressal of Grievances in Technical Institutions) Regulations, 2016 vide No. F. AICTE/ WH/ 2016/ 01 dated10th June 2016, The Committee has been formed in our institution to settle/in order to ensure transparency of genuine grievances/complaints of Gender Sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students, harassment by fellow students, etc. issues to provide a mechanism to innocent students and stakeholders for redressal of their grievances/complaints, etc., if and when they arise. The members of the above-said committee are as follows:-

Grievance Redressal Committee

The Statutory Committee Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is formed as per Clause 1 of section 23 of the AICTE Act, 1987 (52 of 1987) and Regulations, 2012, F. No. 37-3/ Lega112012, dated 25.05.2012), The Committee has been formed in our institution to settle/in order to ensure transparency of genuine grievances of students related to academic and non-academic matters, such as assessment, victimization, attendance, charging of fees, conducting of examinations, harassment by fellow students or teachers, admissions, preventing unfair practices, complaints of alleged discrimination by students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC, Women, Minority or Disabled Categories, scholarship issues and sexual harassment and to provide a mechanism to innocent students and stakeholders for redressal of their grievances, etc., if and when they arise. The members of the above-said committee are as follows:-
